Like New Zealand itself, Queenstown’s Kiwi Birdlife Park has something for everyone, nature, wildlife, native forest and birdlife and real conservation in action. It is a unique and popular visitor attraction in Queenstown.
The Park is a hidden sanctuary of trees, bush and native trails in the middle of the busy resort town of Queenstown.
The Kiwi Birdlife Park will entertain and educate both young and old. All our visitor’s are guaranteed to view a kiwi. The staff at the Kiwi Birdlife Park are passionate about providing an eco friendly environment. By visiting the park you are also contributing to the breeding programmes we undertake for endangered New Zealand bird species.
We are easy to find, situated just a five minute walk from the Queenstown town centre and just below the Skyline gondola terminal. The park is adjacent to a public carpark.
The park also features a cafe, early Maori Hunting Village, a retail centre, a native garden trail which is ideal for strolling and an entertaining and educational conservation show held daily at 11am and 3pm. The Kiwi Birdlife Park has the following features:
